This week's random shots # 2

Fall is in the air, you can smell it here in the Maritimes, As the leaves change color and fall to the forest floor they begin to decay and emit an aroma that arouses memories of years gone by. While much of nature is winding down in its yearly growth cycle, and many of our non-resident birds have already left for greener pastures, I can still find many great photo opportunities. I love the pic of the bird, his shadow, and his reflection. I took a similar picture of him last year in almost the same location.

Front yard and back yard

After six consecutive weekends of playing, Wendy and I decided to stay at home and catch up on some of our chores that we have been putting off. Still, I found time to take a tour of our property with my camera. I started in the front yard and continued on into our back yard. Here are some of the pics.

Scenic Sunday # 3

Wendy and I were caught in a torrential downpour and took cover under the canopy of this huge tree. This short waterway between Maquapit and French Lake is an excellent spot to kayak with easy access and beautiful scenery. For other scenic spots around the world visit
