The last pic is of an Inuksuk I spotted on Sunnyside beach last week....it is under several feet of water this week but I will be waiting and watching for its return too.

Welcome Back
Spring is finally here. In and around Grand Lake this usually means lots of rain and high water and the return of many migrating species of birds including the osprey, the yellow-bellied sapsucker and the double-crested cormorant. The first pic is also my entry into Sky Watch Fridays http://skyley.blogspot.ca/

ReplyDeleteSpring is so beautiful. I was out your way two years ago and enjoyed it very much.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great inukshuk you found, especially if it is strong enough to survive the turning of the tide.

Hey. Greetings from North Cedars! Looking forward to hearing about your fishing trips! Nice photos of the Mallard Ducks. It'll soon be time for Kayaking trips.
